This guide explains the Reviews & Ratings product path end to end so developers and ops share the same status language. It is intentionally separate from the Apps closed-testing wizard so existing submission flows stay untouched.

Start a reviews orderOpen the service page, then submit & pay in your workspace.

1. Create the order

Open Reviews & Ratings in the developer workspace. Enter app name, listing URL, and optional notes. Save a draft if you need to come back later, or click Submit & pay to open the package popup immediately.

2. Pick Basic Review or Premium Review

The popup lists review packages only — never closed-testing packages. Defaults are Basic Review (20 reviews/$15) and Premium Review (30 reviews/$29). Checkout uses Dodo once product ids are linked in admin.

3. Fulfillment statuses

After payment confirms, the order is queued. Ops then moves it through a clear pipeline:

  • Queued / Start — order is ready for work
  • In progress — reviews and ratings are being fulfilled
  • Report sending — closeout notes or confirmation are being prepared
  • Completed — work is finished for the developer

4. Paid vs unpaid tracking

Each reviews order also has a payment status (paid or unpaid) for internal ops. Successful checkout marks the order paid. Admins can still toggle payment status if a manual settlement needs to be recorded.

What does not change

App testing still uses the Apps wizard, testing credit packages, tester assignment, and production reports. Billing for closed testing can still happen from Billing or during test-run submission. Reviews never share that path.
