Free tool

Google Play closed testing timeline estimator.

Estimate the earliest date your closed test can support a production-access request, then add review buffer so your launch schedule is more realistic.

Earliest request date

May 24, 2026

Conservative review target

May 31, 2026

This assumes all listed testers stay opted in continuously for the full 14-day window and the closed testing release is available to them.

How to read the estimate

The 14-day window should be treated conservatively. Start counting only after the release is available and at least 12 testers have opted in continuously through the proper closed-testing path.

If the tester count drops below 12 or the release is not available to testers, use the date when the test becomes healthy again rather than the original upload date.

Timeline estimator FAQ

What date should I enter?

Enter the date when your closed testing release is available and at least 12 testers are opted in through the correct Play Console flow.

Why does the tool add a review buffer?

Google says production-access review usually takes 7 days or less, but it can take longer. The buffer helps you plan conservatively.

Does this estimator replace Play Console status?

No. Always confirm the actual status in Play Console before requesting production access.

Build the tester plan behind the date.

Pair the estimate with a checklist, real tester coordination, and feedback tracking before you request production access.
